Megarachne servinei

Despite its name, the "giant spider," Megarachne was actually a eurypterid, or "sea scorpion." Despite this, in many sources, it is listed as an arachnid, which is inaccurate. This critter lived millions of years before the dinosaurs, in the Carboniferous period. A friend and I decided to use the water spider as a coloring inspiration, just for the sheer irony. I gotta say, I honestly find these guys a bit cute! Anyhow, this is for the PalaeoVerse project, as usual.
